Obituary of Susan E. Bodine

Susan Eleanor Bodine, age 76, of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Thursday,

November 9th, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was born in Geneva, NY on April 8th, 1947, the daughter of the late Leonard

and Ethelyn Patchett. She married the love of her life, Charles "Bud" N. Bodine Jr.

on February 11th, 1966. She was a customer service representative for Stork &

Manahan Insurance for 25 years retiring in 2005. Susan enjoyed quilting, golfing,

bowling and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her sister, Judith Ryder;

brother-in-law, Wesley Ryder; brother, Phil Patchett; and nephews, Doug and Don

Covert.

Susan is survived by Charles "Bud" N. Bodine Jr. ; children, Brent (Tracy) Bodine,

Jef (Karen) Bodine, Shari (Joe) Brodmann, and Mike (Tammy) Bodine;

grandchildren, Andrew (Reagan) Bodine, Alex Bodine, Aaron Bodine, Abby

Bodine, Kaylee (Geoff) Wager, Jordan (Chanel) Bodine, Hanna Brodmann, Max

Brodmann, Mia Bodine, and Rylee Bodine; great grandchildren, Harvey Bodine,

Emma Wager and Forrest Wager; brother, Steve (Cyndy Hughes) Patchett;

brother-in-law, Daryl (Cindy) Bodine; sisters-in-law, Terry Patchett, Donna (Gary)

Treat and Carla (Gary) Milburn; many nieces and nephews; and her cat Boot's.

A private memorial service will be held at the Dundee Methodist Church. In lieu of
