Obituary of Richard P. Gottshall, Jr.

Richard Paul Gottshall Jr., age 62, of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023.

He was born in Geneva on May 10th, 1961, the son of Richard Gottshall and Sharen Cron. He married Judy Edington on February 16th, 2000. He enjoyed various art forms, races, fast cars, hot rods and motorcycles. He loved spending time with his dog, Cooper and his family. On weekends going to garage sales and bargain shopping were on the top of his list.

Richard is survived by his wife, Judy (Edington) Gottshall; daughters, Crystel (Christopher) Hillman of Romulus and Lacey Gottshall of Penn Yan; son, Shawn Gottshall of Ovid; three grandchildren; siblings, John Gottshall (Theresa) of Potter, Scott (Mary Jane) Gottshall of Penn Yan and Shannen and (Crystal) of Adel,Georgia; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Joshua Gottshall and his parents, Richard Gottshall Sr. and Sharen Cron.
