Obituary of Paula E. Wolff

Paula E. (Stryker) Wolff, 70, of Dresden, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at home. She was born in Penn Yan, NY on November 3, 1953 the daughter of Jay L. Stryker, Sr. and Joan Conley Bunn and graduated from Marcus Whitman High School in 1972. On June 3, 1976, she married Manfred Wolff in Roth, Hessen, Germany.

Paula worked in Environmental Services at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital for many years and was store manager for Circle K, retiring in 2018. Paula was a member of the Dresden Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She loved DYI projects.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Brooke Chisenall Lindstead (Al Ritz) of Dresden; three sisters, Connie (Brad) Baughman of Dresden, Vicki Stryker of Peoria, AZ and Penny Stryker of Penn Yan; five brothers, Jay (Shelli) Stryker, Jr. of Kearney, MO, Robert Stryker, Sr. of Penn Yan, Daniel (Ginny) Stryker of Penn Yan, Larry Stryker of Omaha, NE and Barry Stryker of Dundee; two grandchildren, Brittanie Chisenall and Marshall Chisenall; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Manfred Wolff in 1986; and brother, Dennis Stryker.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY. Please dress in comfortable clothes for the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Dresden Volunteer Fire Department, 3 Firehouse Ave, Dresden, NY 14441.
