Obituary of Jeffery A. Hand

Jeffery ‘Jeff’ Alan Hand, age 59, of Beaver Dams, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Jeff was born in Penn Yan, NY on March 16, 1965 to Frances and Willard Hand.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Robert Hand.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Abby Hand; daughters Allissa (Cody) Brennan, Casey (Matthew) Campbell, and Ashley (Andrew) Dunton; sons Jacob (Kaitlin) Hand, Trevor (Stephanie) Hand and Zakariah (Caitlyn) Hand; sisters Kelly (Chris) Hand, Kim (Jayme) Gilbert, Dora (Punk) McIntyre and Lucy (Jim) Pedder; brothers William (Sandi) Hand and Joe (Cindy) Hand; and grandchildren Bowen, Sora, Mia, Tim, Mylana, Nathan, Calob, Jaxon, Luke, Adrian, Levi, Owen and Chase.

Jeff attended Penn Yan Academy and worked as a mechanic and jack-of-all-trades. Jeff was a longtime dirt track fan and enjoyed working on race cars with his family and friends. He also enjoyed his time spent camping, fishing and hunting, as well as teaching all of his kids to drive. Most of all, Jeff loved spending time with friends and family, and his dogs Darla, Willow and Odie. He was always eager to lend a helping hand to everyone around him.
