She is survived by her son Mike (Vicki) Pedersen of Penn Yan, NY; grandsons, Preston (Emily) Pedersen of Penn Yan, NY and Brandon (Natalie) Woodcock of Buffalo, NY; granddaughter, Quinn (Lanny) Gilbert of Dresden, NY; great-grandchildren, Teagan Gilbert, Adalynn and Griffin Woodcock; brother, William (Joann) Burg of Penn Yan, NY; sisters-in-law Babe (Betty Jean) Ferraro of Geneva, NY and Alice Pedersen of Canandaigua, NY; along with an aunt, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many cousins.
Patricia graduated in 1962 from Penn Yan Academy and continued to be involved with her Alma Mater through Class Reunion committees that convened every five years. Over the years, Patricia worked for multiple local agencies, including Beaumont & Stork Insurance, Lakeside Country Club, B.P.O.E. #1722, Earle Estate Meadery, and Pinckney Hardware. However, much of her career was spent at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home, Inc., first as a part-time bookkeeper and then finally as the Financial/Fiscal Manager, retiring in 2004 after devoting over 26 years of service to the company.
Patricia always enjoyed cross stitch and various crafts, and for several years she and Howard owned a small business at the Windmill Farm and Craft Market in Penn Yan. She was also involved with Cub Scout Pack 44 for many years, holding roles of Den Mother and Secretary/Treasurer. She was a faithful member of the Penn Yan United Methodist Church for her entire life.
