Robert “Bobby” Lee VanBuskirk, age 62, passed away Tuesday, April 14th, 2020 in his daughter's loving home with his cherished people by his side. Bobby loved his daughter Mollie and two beautiful grandchildren Liam and Emilia. He spent countless hour making memories for them. They were his world. The love and passion he had for mowers, tractors or anything with an engine made him have great joy. He loved figuring things out. He was taught at a young age, by his father Leon, growing up in the Village of Dresden. He could fix anything and make it run. His logo was R.V.B. Small engine repair. Bobby knew everyone in town. He had the unique gift of making people laugh and happy. He could also make people extremely mad. That was Bob. He grew up with his mother teaching him how to play the piano and organ. The B3 Hammond organ was his prized possession. He was quite talented at playing by ear. Later in his teens Bobby played for several bands in the area. Including his favorite EJ-LA Band at Chi Chi Venutis on Rte. 14A. Later on he began collecting model and toy tractors. There had to of been over 300 tractors. He also collected anything Mopar. His best friend Dave Blauvelt and him would go on road trips looking for more things for his collection. 45 years of good friendship those two had. Bobby is survived by his daughter Mollie, grandchildren Liam and Emilia, his mother Margaret, sister Dian and Mollie's mom Janice. He was predeceased by his father Leon and brother Larry.
