Obituary of Ronald G. Jones

Ronald G. Jones, 83, passed away December 26th, 2020, after a lengthy illness. In keeping with Ron's wishes, there will be no prior calling hours or services. Ron was a born and raised; life long resident of Penn Yan. Ron was born on July 10th, 1937 to Elwin D. Jones and Blanche Wixom. Ron was a people person, he loved his children and step-children dearly. He would try to be there for all his family when they wanted or needed him. Ron was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He was a well known gun-smith and tattoo artist for many years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years; Joan L. Jones; his children and step-children, Timothy (Deb McNay) of Va., Nancy (Neil) Pritchard of Canada, Daniel (fiance Catherine) Jones of GA., David Jones of Penn Yan, Donald (Gail) Jones of Penn Yan, Tammy (Steven) Hullings of Penn Yan, Gregory (Lisa) Andrews of Alaska, Kimberly Andrews of Canandaigua, Robin (John) Himes of Newark, Ronald (Stephanie) Andrews of Dundee, David Andrews of Canandaigua, and Kristine (Robert) Boylan of Canandaigua; 26 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and two little ones due soon. Ron was predeceased by both parents, two brothers, Robert Jones and Richard (Maria) Jones; and grandson, Andrew Hullings. He will be loved and missed by all his family for as long as any of us are here. His family wishes to extend an appreciation for the care he received at MM Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua.
