Obituary of Margaret A. Kopilchak

Margaret A. "Peggy" Kopilchak, 91, of Prattsburgh, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She was born in Turtle Creek, PA on July 6, 1929 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna Belle Soles. Peggy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Prattsburgh. She was a volunteer at the VA and at Prattsburgh American Legion. Peggy enjoyed crafting, crocheting, quilting and making wreaths. She was an avid football fan and loved watching the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter in 2007, son Stephen in 2009, great grandson, Ernst in 2012, her sister, Gladys Fitzroy, and two brothers Peter and Jack Lee. Peggy is survived by her son, Peter (Patricia) Kopilchak of Hammondsport; daughter, Mary (John) Bardo of Watkins Glen; daughter-in-law, Diane Kopilchak of FL; grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, Carrie, Cheryl, Laura, Douglas, Crystal and Jay; step-grandchildren, Toni and Becky; great grandchildren, Casey, Kyle, Eric, Christopher, Ryan, Savannah, Lindsey, Jacob, Brianna, Joe, Everett, Olive, Evelyn and Tristan; several great great grandchildren; and best friend, Harriet. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 11:00-12:00 at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home 122, N. Genesee St., Montour Falls followed by her funeral service at 12:00 pm. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
