Condolences
Jeremy, Jonathan and Sarah, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in the many precious memories your hearts will always hold. Sending my love and deepest sympathy. What a gifted, loving and wise lady your Mother was! My friendship with her began in 1982 when your dad became pastor at Merrill's Grove, Audubon, Iowa. Sharing recipes, doing crafts and sewing projects, exchanging books and titles of favorite authors - what fun we had! I also remember a special trip to Kansas when she was a student at the Seminary. I went with her when she delivered a unique project for one of her classes - a model of the Temple in Jerusalem. What a masterpiece! Once she moved to New York, our friendship continued through phone calls and letters and a couple of actual visits, too. Sarah, you probably remember when the two of you came to visit several years ago. Treasured memories! My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God surround you with His Peace and His comfort.
With love, Bonnie Burton
Dear Jeremy, it's been a long time, I'll just say close to 20 years since you mentored me as a new Pastor. I want to offer my condolences to you and your family upon the death of your dear mother. I'll always remember her beautiful smile and kind heart. I also remember her friendship with Hazel; two very influential and remarkable woman. Blessings Carole Miller
To me, Ruth exemplified what it means to be a follower of Jesus. She was always ready to answer his call and with a quiet smile. May God bless her wonderful family.
Love, Jeanne
"Remembering the graciousness and great help to the Finger Lakes Association/ NYS; she and George brought to every Pastor's gathering and to the Second Milo Church. Enjoyed her sense of humor and wise guidance. Many will miss her faith and smiles!

Jeremy, Jonathan, Sarah and families,
I am saddened by the loss of your Mother. I have fond memories of her, especially her kind and generous spirit. She was an incredibly accomplished woman as a Mother and in her chosen community work. A true inspiration! I remember her glorious garden in Nebraska (she introduced me to Snow Peas, still a favorite of mine).
I am so very fortunate to have known her.
Love to you all,
Kathleen Wright
I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing. She was a wonderful alumna of Keuka College and a role model for the dedication to community and faith so many Keukonians possess. We appreciated her enthusiastic support of her alma mater and its students. Ruth will be greatly missed for her gentle kindness. Thoughts and prayers are being sent up for the family at this difficult time.
