Obituary of Frederick C. Wren

Frederick C. Wren, age 63, of Keuka Park, NY passed away at home on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022. Fred lived in New York the majority of his life. He was a great father, grandfather, son, brother. He loved the Buffalo Bills, Country Music, watching wrestling, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He loved to tinker with lawn mowers and other things. He will be loved and missed by many. He was predeceased by his father, Burt Wren; mother, Ada Calhoun; step mother, Dorothy Wren and granddaughter, Haley Hoffman. Fred is survived by his fiancé of 10 years, Dawn M. Tears; eight children, Erica Boggio (Emmett Kuhlmann) of Keuka Park, Jessica Brown (Matthew Brown) of Geneva, Frederick Dillingham Wren Jr. (Mandi Warner) of Macedon, Jason Wren (Jessika Smith) of Richmond, KY, Jack Hoffman of Keuka Park, Lewis Hoffman (Amanda Buckland) of Weston, NY, Susan Root (Justin Baker) of Shortsville, and Craig Thompson of Keuka Park. Fred is also survived by ten grandchildren, Aliyah Hoffman, Michael Brown, Shane Dillingham, Avery Brown, Kayla VosBurg, Annie Chancellor, Luke Baker, Arie Smith, Benny Smith, and Kiki Smith; and brothers, Charles Wren of Penn Yan, Donald Burd of Geneva, Les Burd of Dundee, and Judy Jones of Dundee. A gathering to celebrate Fred's life will be held from 2pm to 3pm on Friday, April 22nd, 2022 at Townsend Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527. There will be a continuation of his celebration of life at the Keuka Park Fire Hall at 3:30pm with a balloon release in his memory.
