Obituary of Fremont V. Clow
Fremont Valentine Clow, 89, of Penn Yan, NY passed away December 24, 2022 in the Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan.
Fremont was born in Rochester, NY on February 11, 1933 to Albert G. Clow and Deloris Valentine Clow. He was a graduate of the Class of 1950 from John Marshall High School in Rochester, NY.
After serving his country in the Navy, he was employed at Eastman Kodak. Fremont was a town justice in the town of Sweden, the village of Brockport, and the town of Greece, NY. He also served as a member of the Brockport Fire Department for many years and was the department's Chief at one time.
Fremont was predeceased by his first wife Sarah Tindal Clow and his parents Albert and Deloris Clow.
Surviving Fremont are his wife Carole White Clow, and his daughters Deborah (Christopher) Scherf; Elizabeth (Dennis Tears) Clow; Kathleen Clow; Mary (Bruce) Clow-Neary; stepdaughter Amy (Ray) Piloto; and stepson Scott (Jeannie Morris) Smith. Also, several grand and great grandchildren; cousins Howard Barsell of Sarasota, FL and Elaine Larson of Boulder, CO.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 at 11am at the Bluff Point United Methodist Church.
