Condolences
I worked with Rhonda in the radiology department at Geneva General Hospital and had the privilege of teaching her how to do medical transcription. Rhonda was a fiercely loyal friend and one hell of a cook. My three children were all christened in a christening gown made by Rhonda. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. RIP Veneranda Bertha Ann.
My husband and I worked with Rhonda for many years in the Radiology Department of Geneva General Hospital. She was a hard worker who took great pride in doing her job well. Rhonda was thoughtful and generous to her friends and family. She loved taking road trips south to see her friend JoAnne. I belonged to the Deluxe Quilt Guild with her and numerous coworkers. For several years we met weekly at the Deluxe Restaurant when it was closed on Mondays. One of my favorite memories was a road trip to a huge quilt show in Paducah, Kentucky taken with Rhonda and several other quilting buddies. She introduced us all to a Steak & Shake Restaurant which serves phenomenal hot fudge milkshakes. I still seek out a Steak & Shake whenever we head South! We also enjoyed many Shop Hops together.
I will miss her and I am sure many others will, as well. Rest in peace, Rhonda.
I met Rhonda at Geneva General Hospital 1989. We've been friends ever since. Not always connecting on a regular basis, but we had that "forever" friend kind of connection, which I will cherish forever ❤️ Rest my friend. Patty Cartarius RT(R)(CT)(MR). Truly not showing off my credentials just expressing the different work/life phases that we shared.
