Bill was a great asset to the Penn Yan community. Sutherland Corporation starting with father Harry built many of the houses and buildings you see today. Bill could always to relied on to help with any community project.

I am sorry to learn of Bill's death. He and Delores were a wonderful team. They were very kind and encouraging to my husband Gordon and myself in years past. I have always been grateful to Bill when, as a new widow, he helped me plan and build a little retirement home. The photo selected for his obit is very nice. Condolences to the Bill Sutherland family. He and his crew built my parent’s lake house in the late70’s. It’s a beautiful and well constructed structure and enjoyed still to this day. He will be remembered as such a fine man.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing, My wife and I have many fond memories with Bill and Delores. A particular memory with Bill is when we served in Beirut, Lebanon in 1958.
