I have so many great childhood memories and most involve you big brother. The one that sticks out the most was the day I bugged you forever to take me for a snowmobile ride and you finally agreed. Down the road we went and out into the middle of a field when all of a sudden it just stopped. Your response "Oh no Carebear we must be out of gas. You are going to have to walk home and get someone to bring me some gas because I can't leave the snowmobile here." So I trudged back to the house on the hill as fast as my short, little legs would carry me.just as I got to the house here you came behind me on the snowmobile laughing hysterically. I was so mad, but I would walk miles in feels of snow just to see that laugh one more time.
I will always remember going to the auction with Steve and Meghan. Meghan bought a bunny in a box and couldn't close the flaps. Steve told her 'you gotta be smarter than the box.' Meghan was no match to Steve's quick comments. All she could do was tell him 'you're so stupid'. And then she'd laugh. Steve always treated Meghan like the young adult she was. We'll never forget that.
I will remember you calling me aunt mart and my response would be to you ok uncle Dick.you always had something to say.now you can be with the family that has been waiting . It's not good bye but see you later.until we meet again Rest easy.
I’ll never forget you never ending nick name of “Chantel Monique with the dirty sneaks” even though we all know I always made sure my sneakers were always the cleanest lol
Memories of your strong, quiet solitude wrap their arms around me. Your sense of humor will live on in our family and friends forever. I look out at your John Deere many times throughout the day and can easily picture you riding it. Forever yours, Debbie❤️
