Robert had a passion for horticulture, spending countless hours cultivating his gardens, and he skillfully combined his love for nature with needlework. He was also known for his culinary talents, frequently hosting dinners filled with laughter and warmth for family and friends. His cooking created cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those he loved.

He is survived by his three sons, Zachary, Nathanial, and Jonah, and his five grandchildren, Abigail, Ethan, Owen, Evan, and Kaiden, who will forever treasure their time spent with him. Robert shared a deep bond with his life partner, Patrick, who was by his side through thick and thin. He is also survived by his mother, Jackie, and his siblings Bill, Todd, and Matt. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Smith, whose legacy of love and guidance lives on in Robert's memory.

Robert will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the enduring love he shared with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held to honor his life and legacy.
