Condolences
Dearest Rhodes family,
Our hearts just ache for the loss of your beloved Curt.
May it help to know that we, along with all of your many friends, are sharing the sadness and sorrow in your hearts.
Love to you with deepest sympathy,
Joan and Michael Hendrickson
Elaine Gleason did a beautiful funeral service for Curt yesterday. I especially enjoyed the story she told of how Curt would charm his older-lady customer's at the Windmill Farm & Craft Market where he had a stand; selling his homemade Black Currant Jam. He'd say "it's so sinfully good, it's not allowed to be eaten on Sundays". What a character! RIP Curt. Condolences to Jan and the rest of the family!
Ah, Rhodesy ... you were one of the good guys. A straight shooter. One always knew where you stood on topics, and where they stood with you. I always got a kick out of your response to discussions on someone elses antics ... "Well, it doesn't make <her/him> a bad person". Thoughtful words, my friend.
To Jan, Cathy, Cindy, and all of Curt's family, our sincere condolences on Curt's passing. We've lost a good person, and too soon.
Sincerely,
Jeff and Carla Fingar
My very deepest condolences to all of the Rhodes families and dearest friends. I have so many very fond memories of the early 80s spending so much time out there with Curt “Dusty “ and the beautiful Rhodes familes. Some of the best times of my life from those days. My heart breaks for this news. I was so happy I did get to say hello to Curt after so many years had gone by and it was nice reminiscing. From working in the cabbage fields to learning how to drive that 1066 international and chopping wheat it was such a beautiful time to experience and enjoy farm living with this family and great friends. May you rest in Forever Paradise Curt sending much love and deepest condolences.
