“Jerry” Frank E. Golden, age 81, of Penn Yan, NY passed away in the comfort of his home on Wedneday, February 12th, 2020. Jerry was born in New Jersey on February 27th, 1938, the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Cronenberger) Golden. He drove truck for many years as a long time member of the Teamsters Union. Jerry was devoted to his late wife Beverly and traveled to Florida with her as often as they could. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars and tinkering in his garage. Jerry also enjoyed seafood, especially all you can eat crableg buffet. Jerry is survived by his children, Catherine Golden-Coppola, Dorothy (Mike) Carmel, Christine (Mark) Langan, Phyllis Golden (Jim Eddinger), and David (Sue) Golden; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and his sister, Michele (Harry) Sharwthout. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Beverly Ann Golden and daughter, Bonnie J Boehm. Arrangements for Jerry are with the Townsend Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527. Memories may be shared with Jerry's family and friends at townsendwoodzinger.com A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26th at 2pm at Little Church Cemetery in Stanley, NY. Those in attendance are ask to wear a mask and abide by social distancing guidelines.
