Obituary of Debra Jean Pierce

Debra Jean Pierce (Socola), age 64, of Penn Yan, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020. Debra was born in Rochester, NY on January 30, 1956, the daughter of the late Francis and Louise (Usher) Moon. She worked for 12 years for Coach & Equipment in Penn Yan until her retirement in 2018. Debra married Ralph Emerson Pierce on July 6th, 2001. She was an avid NASCAR fan. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years Ralph Emerson Pierce, daughter Nicole (Mike Johnson) Socola of Hammondsport, sons Jeff (Donna) Socola of NC, Jamie Socola of Buffalo, Jeremy and Joey Socola of Bath, Step sons Thomas (Cierra) Pierce of Farmington and Deven Pierce of Penn Yan, Thirteen Grandchildren, and sister Dana Brush of Rochester. A celebration of Debra's life will be held and announced at a later date. Arrangements are with the Townsend Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, Penn Yan, NY.
