Obituary of Frances B. Clingerman

On June 5th, Frances “Fran” Clingerman, 85, was welcomed home in to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Fran was born in Palm Harbor, Fl on February 20th, 1935, the daughter of the late, Frederick and Ethel (Medler) Cramer. She was a very family oriented person, loved to get together with all of the family every moment that she could and loved every minute of it. She loved gardening, birds and bird watching, sewing in her younger years, and loved camping out. Fran also was blessed with a Great Great Grandchild named Gideon. We all cherished the time of get togethers and will always remain in our hearts and memories. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother! Fran was predeceased by her husband, Paul R. Clingerman and daughter, Francine Ryan. She is survived by her children, Char, Dawn, John, and Joe; step children, Wes, Annette, Paul Jr.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchild Gideon, brother and sister in law, James and Diane Cramer; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call from 12 Noon to 1pm on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 at Townsend Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY 14527 where a memorial service celebrating her Life will follow at 1pm. Interment will follow at Glenview Cemetery in Pulteney. Those attending will be required to adhere to state regulations by social distancing and face masks will be required.
