Obituary of Barbara Ann Spofford

Barbara A. Spofford, age 85, of Shoreham and Penn Yan, NY, passed away peacefully on October 5th, surrounded by her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, known for her generosity, wit, and compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara was born in Seneca Falls, NY. She graduated from the University of Rochester's nursing program and worked as a Registered Nurse and supervisor for over 45 years. Barbara and her husband Tenney had five children and many happy adventures together during their 62 years of marriage.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Steven), and Malia (Bruno); sons, Cosmas (Karen), Stephen, and Jason (Carolyn); twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
