I remember the night Ben was born. I drove you from here to Strong. You were so tired. (Had to be to let me drive you!) There he was, under what looked like a grow lamp, hooked up to tubes and machines that were reading heart rate, etc. They all looked a bit much for that beautiful boy laying there. I remember they were all sort of all over the place. Then the nurse put him in your arms (wires, tubes and all) and you began to talk to him. Those things settled down as Ben snuggled into your arms, knowing he was safe in his Dad's arms. He knew your voice - you said you'd been talking to him for a while. He knew you loved him. He knew that love every day of his life. Ben will always be a part of you. Our love and prayers are with all of you.
