Claresa M. Brown Woodcock, age 104, of Montour Falls, NY formerly of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls. Claresa was born in Pulteney, NY on June 26, 1917, the daughter of the late, Charles R. and Edith C. (Harris) Brown. She enjoyed the Senior Luncheons and for many years was a very active member of the Penn Yan Moose Club. She loved to travel and had been to places all around North America, Mexico and Europe. Claresa is survived by her two sons, Charles Gordon (Kathleen Pille) Woodcock and Donald James Woodcock; grandchildren, Quinn R. (Lanny) Gilbert and Brandon J. Woodcock; great grandchild, Teagan Gilbert; niece, Jennifer Brown; great nephews, Brandt Abercrombie and Donald Jones; great nieces, Christa Davis and Debbie Jones-Norberto. In addition to her parents, Claresa was predeceased by her husband, Cpl. James C. Woodcock in 1964; grandson, Nathaniel C. Woodcock in 2011; and her brother, Gordon H. Brown in 1965. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1pm at Lakeview Cemetery, 426 Court St. in Penn Yan with the Rev. Don Peek officiating.
