To Diane, Jeff, Michael and Jenny: I just watched the memorial tribute and smiled a lot, shed some tears and recalled many special memories of your mother. When you moved to Keuka and Howard opened ‘Roses’, thanks to my forever, special friend Diane, I spent many fun days around your family. Howard made me work for my keep at times as I recall painting the ceiling in the restaurant. ( black). Your mother was always encouraging, kind, fun and easy to talk to. She always made me feel welcome- even when I had been at your house for several days. I can still picture her relaxing at the lake, wine in hand in her lounge chair with and easy and infectious smile for all who came by.
