Dave was truly one-of-a-kind. I'll always remember his quick and dry wit. His smile and sense of humor never left him. He often took me (and friends) flying when we were teens, and when I rented an apartment at his place on the lake when newly married he took my wife and I flying in the Piper Cub floatplane. Always kind and generous. Whenever we'd land, he'd utter his catch phrase: "Beat the odds again!" Dave, I pray your final flight is smooth and happy. You made many others happy in how you lived your life. Thank you.
