To the family of Jane - When I was 15 or 16 years old in the early 1970s, my mother would take me with her on her house cleaning jobs. Mrs. Peck was one of the homes she cleaned. I remember both Mrs. and Mr. Peck as very nice people. Mrs. Peck was so good to my mother and was always kind to me. At the end of a job, she would pay my mother her earnings, then give me a few dollars, too. At one point she gave some furniture to my mother which remained in my family until my parents retired out here to Arizona in the late 1990s. Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother. I knew her as a very kind woman.

I was so sorry to read of Jane's passing when I received my mailed Ch-Express today. It has been a tough stretch for all of you with the Covid visitation restrictions. As you know, I only met her once, but my father, Fred Lerch, must have known her well, despite an 8 year age difference (he was raised in Branchport, and was 26 when they both became founding members of the Fire Department in 1936). She was blessed with a caring family which allowed her to live independently in the family home until this last difficult period.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. I met her at church..my Mom Pat.. introduced her as a friend of her Mother, Eleanor Goodman. Such a sweet lady. She will be missed.

Condolences to Lois, Joan, and Dale, and the rest of Jane's family. I "knew" Jane through Lois. To have helped raise such an upstanding and good person such as Lois, Jane was surely a wonderful person. May she rest in peace.

Jane has touched so many throughout her life, While those who remain feel sadness, she is now in her heavenly home and with those who left before. What a glorious day it will be when we are all together again with those we love. I was blessed to have met and visited with Jane when I was in Bath. My love to all during this sad time.
